Technical Support Engineer

Our client a technology business is looking for a Technical Support Engineer to join its growing team. This Technical Support Engineer role offers the opportunity to provide first line support across a range of software solutions while developing technical expertise through ongoing training. The successful Technical Support Engineer will work closely with customers, delivering a high standard of service and helping to resolve a wide variety of technical issues. Based in Thame, Oxfordshire. Duties: Provide first line telephone and remote technical support to customers. Log, manage and update support cases accurately within the CRM system. Investigate technical issues and escalate unresolved cases when required. Keep customers informed with clear and professional communication throughout the support process. Work closely with technical and sales colleagues to deliver excellent customer service. Create technical content such as blogs and videos on common support topics. Deliver software demonstrations and assist with technical presale activities when needed. Maintain relevant software certifications and technical knowledge. Experience: IT related education, training or previous technical support experience. Strong interest in software, technology and IT systems. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Clear written and verbal communication skills. Strong organisational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. ..... full job details .....
