The below job description will outline this position of: Technical Superintendent Typically, this person will ensuring all shipboard mechanical / electrical machinery and navigation electronics are operated and maintained in a safe, efficient manner. HSB Technical s client is a very established and well-regarded business entity. Duties and responsibilities of the Technical Superintendent: • Have full budgetary responsibility of assigned vessels - making sure they are always operational, safe, and efficient • Ensure planned vessel inspections are carried out, including preparation of the vessel for appropriate class/flag inspections • Take the lead on ensuring everyday maintenance and physical Repairs, dry docks - and making sure this work is carried out to the required industry standards • Be a Technical Vessel expert to support land-based, and on-board personnel Qualifications and requirement for the Technical Superintendent: • Someone with existing shoreside experience in a similar post, coupled with a background to 2nd Engineer and above, or a strong Ship Repair background • Any additional Electrical Engineering ..... full job details .....
