is responsible for the strategy, performance, and lifecycle of middleware platforms that enable seamless integration across enterprise systems. This role ensures the availability, scalability, and resilience of middleware services, while managing a team of specialists and liaising with cross-functional teams to support business-critical applications.Key ResponsibilitiesMiddleware Operations:Oversee day-to-day operations of middleware platforms such as WebLogic, WebSphere, Apache Kafka, IBM MQ, TIBCO, or similar, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.Service Management:Implement ITIL-based service management processes for incident, change, and problem management across middleware environments.Manage and develop a team of middleware engineers and support staff. Provide technical leadership, coaching, and performance reviews.System Integration:Collaborate with application development and infrastructure teams to ensure successful integration and deployment of new solutions.Monitoring and Performance:Implement and manage monitoring tools to proactively identify and resolve issues. Drive performance tuning and capacity planning.Security and Compliance:Ensure middleware systems are secure and comply with internal governance and regulatory requirements.Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers, including support contracts, SLAs, and escalations.Skills and Experience* Strong experience managing middleware technologies (e.g., WebLogic, IBM MQ, Apache Kafka, TIBCO, MuleSoft, or similar).* Solid understanding of enterprise integration patterns and API management.* Proven team leadership and service delivery management experience.* Working knowledge of Linux/Unix environments and scripting (e.g., Bash, Python).* Experience with monitoring and APM tools (e.g., AppDynamics, Splunk, Dynatrace).* Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps principles.Seniority level
