About the Role

The Technical Services Manager position in London, with Amida, carries a salary of £95,000 to £110,000 plus package on a permanent basis. This role involves overseeing service installations on construction projects valued between £1 million and £30 million. Responsibilities include assessing subcontractor proposals for cost-effectiveness and regulatory compliance, alongside applying commercial awareness to mechanical and electrical expenditures. The successful candidate will also review service programmes, ensuring alignment with project timelines. Duties and responsibilities of the right Technical Services/Building Services Manager, include:

Responsible for managing the installation of services, working on schemes from £1million to £30million
Review sub-contractor proposals to ensure they are cost effective and comply with the client''s brief/requirements and building regulations
Commercially aware of the cost of various mechanical and electrical items, to ensure competitive costs are achieved
Review proposed service''s programmes and provide feedback, including review of proposed lead-in times and procurement issues
Be aware and produce a commissioning strategy, including testing and commissioning data
Providing advice regarding the validation of existing building services

Depending on the calibre of the candidate, my client would look to pay up to £110k plus package and a very lucrative bonus scheme.
