Technical Services Manager - Reading Area - Competitive Salary + BenefitsWe''re looking for a Technical Services Manager to join projects in the Reading area. This role combines design input with oversight of delivery from early stages through to completion. You''ll be involved from design through to installation, supporting teams, reviewing submissions, and ensuring compliance across multiple schemes. The position requires someone confident both at the design table and on site, able to bridge technical detail with practical delivery.Responsibilities
Supporting production of designs and specifications at early stagesManaging technical elements across multiple live projectsReviewing and approving subcontractor designs, tenders, and technical submissionsChairing meetings and monitoring on-site progressAdvising pre-construction and design teams on risks, compliance, and costOverseeing commissioning programmes and sign-offQualifications
Proven Technical Services Manager experienceStrong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, public health and life safety systemsBackground in managing works through design and installation phasesRelevant engineering or technical qualificationsConfident working with clients, consultants, and subcontractorsWhat\''s on offer
