Technical Services Co-Ordinator (Part-Time)

OverviewKinetic Industrial are proud to be supporting a leading food production company in Ashton-under-Lyne in the recruitment of a Part-Time Technical Services Co-ordinator.

This is a key role ensuring food safety, quality, and compliance are maintained across all products and processes.

This is a part-time, temporary to permanent role, working 25 hours per week. You will be required to work Monday to Friday, 8am to 1pm, with flexibility available.

Responsibilities

Prepare and issue internal specifications and factory documentation

Complete customer product questionnaires and respond to queries

Respond promptly and professionally to customer queries

Review and approve technical artwork, ensuring compliance and barcode accuracy

Support product launches with accurate documentation and communication

Conduct internal audits and support external audits (BRCGS, COP, customer standards)

Carry out GAP analysis, escalating issues and ensuring corrective action is taken

Maintain document control for food safety and quality records

Support continuous improvement projects across the site

Requirements

Food Safety Level 3 and HACCP Level 2 (essential)

Knowledge of BRCGS, GMP, GHP, and Food Defence (essential)

Internal auditing experience and basic microbiology knowledge (advantageous)

Knowledge of legal labelling requirements

Strong organisational and communication skills, both written and verbal

Ability to work independently with excellent attention to detail

Confidence to work independently, with good decision-making and problem-solving skills

Attention to detail with the ability to process data quickly and accurately

£13.08 per hour
