Technical Sales Manager

Are you a commercially driven sales professional with strong connections across the defence, aerospace, advanced manufacturing or marine sectors?

We are recruiting on behalf of an innovative UK manufacturer looking to appoint an experienced individual to lead the development of a growing Advanced Composites channel. This is a unique opportunity to shape a strategic business area, build a customer base from the ground up, and create a high-value network of industry contacts.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, developing relationships with key customers and stakeholders, and driving growth across defence, aerospace, and other advanced composites markets. You will also work cross-functionally to help build an internal channel-focused team, ensuring the business is well positioned for ambitious growth plans over the coming years.

Key requirements:

• Proven B2B sales or business development experience within defence, aerospace, composites, advanced materials, manufacturing, or related sectors
• Strong industry network and ability to open doors with new customers
• Experience developing new markets, channels, or customer segments
• Commercially minded with a strategic approach to growth
• Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
