Technical Sales ManagerNottingham
Salary: £45,000 to £55,000 depending on experience, plus 1% of total revenue, car allowance, 24 days holiday and all bank holidays.
This is a permanent, full-time role with frequent travel to Nottingham.
The RoleAs Technical Sales Manager, you will play a key role in developing new business and strengthening customer relationships. Working closely with the senior leadership team, marketing and applications engineers, you will identify opportunities, qualify leads and create tailored solutions for clients. The role involves both UK and international travel, meeting customers face-to-face and representing the company at trade events.
Key responsibilities
Drive outbound sales activity, generating new leads and opportunities
Develop technical sales proposals in collaboration with applications engineers
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients
Research and target high-potential markets and accounts
Represent the business at exhibitions, client meetings and industry events worldwide
Work closely with the commercial team to deliver growth plans
Skills and Experience
Minimum 3 years’ sales or business development experience in a B2B setting, ideally within manufacturing
Ability to combine commercial acumen with technical understanding.
Confident building relationships at all levels and thrive in a growing, entrepreneurial environment.
Strong track record of winning new business and developing accounts
Excellent communication and presentation skills
UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively in the UK and overseas
Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities
