Technical Sales Manager - Defence Sector Location: South Coast Salary: Negotiable depending upon experience Are you a dynamic sales professional with a strong technical understanding and experience working with defence clients (Naval and Land)? Do you enjoy spotting opportunities and offering solutions to both new and existing clients? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! Your purpose will be to deliver profitable business growth within the defence sector through identifying new business opportunities as well as developing existing relationships and expanding key accounts. You will need to have a strong customer focus and exceptional communication skills as well as knowledge of the defence sector. This role will cover the UK but will also include occasional international travel. The role As the Defence Sales Manager, you will be instrumental in driving the growth strategy and expanding the client base within the Defence sector. You will utilise your technical knowledge and sales expertise to identify market opportunities, develop tailored solutions and build strong relationships with customers promoting the whole group at all levels. You will need to be pro-active , managing key internal and supplier relationships in order to drive growth and deliver against plans. You will work closely with the directors and be an integral part of the team.
