The RoleThe Role:

A fantastic opportunity for a

Technical Sales Manager

to join a UK leader in working at height machinery. This full-time, permanent position focuses on driving sales of new equipment and service contracts across an established, loyal customer base. You’ll also generate new business through incoming enquiries, targeted outreach, and strategic lead generation with the marketing team.

This role involves regular client engagement – conducting product demonstrations, managing handovers, and building long-term relationships with customers in sectors such as retail, food and beverage manufacturing, logistics, and facilities management. Major accounts include high-profile names like ENGIE, CBRE and Manchester City FC.

You’ll typically be based at the West Yorkshire office one day per week, work from home two days, and spend the remaining time on-site with clients across the UK.

Requirements

A proven background in capital equipment sales

Experience in powered access or materials handling equipment (ideal)

Strong communication and relationship-building skills

A driven, ambitious approach and a willingness to travel

A full UK driving licence

The Package for Technical Sales Manager

Basic salary between £40,000 – £50,000

£10,000+ uncapped bonus and commission

Company car or car allowance

22 days annual leave + Bank Holidays
