Technical Sales EngineerLocation: Stourport Hours: Monday-Thursday: 7:30am - 4:00pm (30-minute lunch) Friday: 7:30am - 1:00pmWe are working with a well-established manufacturing company who are looking to appoint a Technical Sales Engineer to join their Sales team. This is a key role focused on building strong customer relationships, responding to technical sales enquiries, and producing accurate, competitive quotations. You will provide both commercial and technical support to new and existing customers, working closely with internal departments to ensure a smooth process from enquiry through to order.As a Technical Sales Engineer, your responsibilities will include: Acting as the first point of contact for customer enquiries via telephone, email, and occasional face-to-face meetingsUnderstanding, managing, and interpreting customer technical requirementsProducing layouts and costed solutions using CAD software (training can be provided)Preparing clear, detailed, and accurate quotations and tenders in a timely mannerFollowing up quotations to secure profitable ordersProviding pre-sales technical advice and product support to customersMaintaining a strong understanding of products and applicationsEnsuring orders are processed efficiently and that accurate information is passed to Design and Manufacturing teamsKeeping customers informed of order progress and resolving any issues promptlyMaintaining accurate records of enquiries, quotations, orders, and customer activity using ..... full job details .....
