Technical Sales Engineer

Hutchinson Stop-choc is a leading manufacturer of anti-vibration and shock isolation mountings, avionics racking, illuminated control panels and display systems for aerospace, defence and industrial markets, both in the UK and across the globe.Job DescriptionWe are currently looking for a technical sales engineer to join our dedicated and fast growing sales team with responsibility for our products and business development in the Aerospace and Defence markets.Responsibilities

Establish and understand client requirements and specifications through technical/commercial meetings.Prepare quotations and assist with product selection according to specifications.Negotiate commercial contracts.Provide technical expertise and support tailored to client needs.Build and sustain good working relationships with existing and new clients.Identify and develop new business opportunities.Collaborate with internal teams such as engineering, production and suppliers to meet customer requirements.Prepare technical proposals and present these to clients.Complete monthly sales reports.Requirements, skills and experience

Engineering knowledge, specific knowledge in technical business development would be an advantage.Experience of managing key clients relationships and generating new enquiries.Be driven, comfortable with meeting new people and developing relationships within a commercial environment.Excellent communication and organisation skills.Hold a full UK driving licence.Bonus SchemeCompany PensionCompany CarOur Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion
