Technical Sales Engineer

A long-established and highly respected engineering services provider is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to support the ongoing growth and operational delivery of its Bishop Stortford service centre.They are looking for someone to support the next phase of their company growth strategy in and the surrounding areas. You will work closely with the branch management team to identify and develop new opportunities, build strong relationships, and oversee projects from start to finish.This is a pivotal, client-facing role that blends technical knowledge, commercial focus, and project management expertise to support the successful delivery of installation, service, and maintenance solutions to a diverse client base.Key Responsibilities:Business Development and Client RelationshipsProactively engage and build relationships with new and existing clientsPromote a full range of services: installations, PPM contracts, and service workIdentify and convert new business opportunities and follow up leadsConduct site visits, produce quotes, and maintain a strong sales pipelineTechnical Design and QuotingRespond to technical enquiries and prepare tailored designs and specificationsCreate accurate quotations aligned with both client needs and company capabilitiesBalance technical, commercial, and operational considerationsProject Management and DeliveryLead projects from enquiry through to completionManage planning, procurement, and resource coordinationEnsure safety, quality, and customer ..... full job details .....
