Quoting and Sales: Provide detailed quotations for elevated components, focusing on major repairs and modernisations of passenger lifts.Client Engagement: Conduct outside surveys and liaise with lift consultants specialising in major works, including modernising MRL systems.Market Expertise: Stay abreast of industry trends and innovations, ensuring the company remains at the forefront of passenger lift engineering.Skills and Experience Required for a Technical Sales Engineer:
Technical Background: Must be a passenger lift engineer by trade, with substantial experience in technical sales engineering.Industry Experience: Currently employed at a large independent lift engineering company, specialising in passenger lift engineering.Sales Acumen: Proven track record in modernising existing passenger lifts, with a focus on major repairs and modernisations.Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, and industry stakeholders.This role is perfect for a modernisation salesperson who thrives on technical challenges and excels in a sales-driven environment.
