Technical -Sales Engineer

We are working with an organisation who have been established for over 35 years and have gone from strength to strength. My client specialises in servicing a wide spectrum in all moulding materials. They are toolmakers and precision engineers specialising in the design and manufacture of all production tooling. We are currently looking for experienced Technical Sales Engineer to join this company based in Lancashire.

Key Requirements:

• Must have over 5 years working experience as a Technical -Sales Engineer
• Must have experience to produce accurate, competitive technical and commercial quotations
• Experience with interpreting technical drawings, specifications, CAD models and customer-requirements
• Experience with producing-detailed labour, material, tooling, subcontract and other associated costings,-including appropriate manufacturing routings.-
• Expereince of liaising-with customers, suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing, technical-information, lead times and clarify requirements.-
• Experience of conducting customer/site visits where required to assess project requirements
• Experience with preparing-and submit formal quotations and provide technical support throughout the-tender and quotation process.-
• Experience with-accurate quotation, costing and routing information within the company''s-ERP/MRP system.-

Beneficial-Requirements:

• A strong engineering or manufacturing background, ideally with time-served/shop-floor-experience in machining, fabrication or a related engineering discipline
• Good understanding of CNC turning and milling principles, fabrication methods and-general manufacturing processes
• Thorough understanding of engineering drawings, manufacturing principles, tolerances, materials and manufacturing feasibility

Hours of work: 37 hours
Monday - Thursday: 7:30-16:00 and-Friday 7:30 - 12:30
