Technical Sales Engineer

Our client is a well-established UK manufacturer based in Great Barr, with over 100 years of expertise and a reputation for excellence in the engineering sector. With a £5m annual turnover, a loyal workforce, and customers across the globe, they are now looking to strengthen their team with a driven Technical Sales Engineer. Salary is between £35,000 to £45,000 depending on experience and benefits include 33 days holiday including Bank Holidays and free car parking. Hours of work are 9.00am - 5:30pm (Monday - Thursday) 9.00am - 4:30pm (Friday). This role is in the sales department. You will handle incoming technical sales enquiries from our customers and build close relationships with them in dealing with technical sales enquiries, producing accurate and competitive quotes and being able to provide solutions to meet their needs and applications. As the Technical Sales Engineer, you will:Work closely with sales and technical teams as an active team memberHandle customer enquiries via phone and email, providing technical and commercial solutionsPrepare accurate quotations and follow up to secure ordersManage orders from enquiry through to completion, ensuring proactive communication on progress or delaysProvide customers with clear information on stock, availability, pricing, and product suitabilityLiaise with suppliers for products outside in-house manufacturingAccurately enter all enquiries, quotes, and orders into the system and ensure daily follow-upMonitor and share ..... full job details .....
