Technical Sales Engineer (PCBA Manufacturing)

A Technical Sales Engineer is sought to join an innovative electronics manufacturing team in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, contributing to the growth of PCBA and full-turnkey electronic manufacturing services (EMS). The Technical Sales Engineer, Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, building customer relationships and providing technical guidance throughout the sales process. Responsibilities include:Identify and secure new business opportunities with OEMs and electronics design houses requiring PCBA and EMS servicesConsult with customer engineering teams to understand project requirements, schematics, BOMs and Gerber filesDeliver technical presentations showcasing SMT, THT, selective and robotic soldering, and automated optical inspection capabilitiesCarry out Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Testing (DFT) reviews alongside internal NPI engineersAdvise customers on alternative components, material cost optimisation and supply chain challengesPrepare accurate cost estimates, RFQ responses and technical proposals, negotiating contracts and volume pricingAct as the key technical link between customers and internal engineering, production and quality teams while supporting sales territory expansion The Technical Sales Engineer, Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, will have the following key skills:Degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent relevant technical experienceExperience ..... full job details .....
