Technical Sales Engineer

Position: Technical Sales EngineerLocation: West YorkshireSalary: 40-45K + car allowanceHours: 8am to 4.30pm, Monday to Thursday (with half an hour lunch break), 8am to 1pm, FridayNicholas Associates have an excellent opportunity for a Technical Sales Engineer, to join an established client in West Yorkshire.You will be responsible for driving sustainable revenue growth, by developing new customer relationships, expanding existing accounts, and identifying new market opportunities, while delivering technically sound, commercially competitive proposals that protect margin and support long-term growth.Key Responsibilities include:Proactively identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities within the material handling sector.Grow and strengthen existing customer relationships to maximise revenue and long-term account value.Improve the Strategic Business Unit''s (SBU) market position through focused sales activity and effective market penetration.Prepare, implement, and deliver strategic sales and business development plans in collaboration with the senior leadership team.Arrange and conduct technical sales visits to existing and prospective customers across the UK.Build strong relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders within customer organisations.Review customer specifications, drawings, and technical requirements in detail and prepare accurate, competitive technical and commercial proposals, including pricing, scope, and delivery ..... full job details .....
