Technical Sales Engineer Location: Yorkshire Salary: 45,000- 50,000 About the Role We are seeking an experienced Technical Sales Engineer to support customers across the manufacturing and engineering sectors. This role combines technical expertise in CNC machining and metal cutting with a strong commercial focus, helping customers improve productivity, reduce costs and optimise manufacturing processes. You will work closely with customers, internal sales teams and technical partners to identify opportunities, deliver tailored engineering solutions and develop long-term business relationships. Key Responsibilities Identify and implement process improvements that enhance manufacturing efficiency and productivity. Drive cost-saving initiatives and support customers in achieving measurable operational improvements. Work with customers to implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement strategies. Plan, conduct and evaluate tooling trials, ensuring successful outcomes are implemented effectively. Provide expert advice on metal cutting tools, machining applications, cutting speeds, feeds and tooling selection. Develop innovative machining solutions tailored to customer requirements and production challenges. Manage, develop and grow existing strategic customer accounts while identifying new business opportunities.
