Technical Sales Engineer - HVAC

We are currently recruiting for a Technical Sales Engineer to join a leading medical and laboratory equipment manufacturer. Working with clients across pharmaceutical, academic and a range of industrial industries - the role centres around a relationship building approached to sales. Attending customer sites across the UK, you are expected to drive future sales growth by attending clients visits and using your technical understanding to enable you to effectively sell to customers.
This position would suit someone who thrives on building strong client relationships, enjoys technical discussions, and can confidently manage projects from first contact to completion. It''s perfect for self-motivated individuals with experience in laboratory products, ventilation systems, or related engineering fields who want a varied, client-facing role with UK-wide travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend client sites across the UK to assess and discuss project requirements
- Conduct site surveys, take measurements, and provide information to the internal team
- Develop and deliver sales forecasts, reports, and marketing plans
- Liaise with architects, consultants, and internal estimating teams to secure project specifications
- Maintain consistent communication with clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business
