Technical Sales Engineer Location: Haslingden Salary: 45000 Job Type: Permanent, Full Time The Role We are recruiting for an experienced Technical Sales Engineer to join an established engineering business specialising in ventilation, air conditioning, ductwork and fire-resisting ductwork. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically minded sales professional who can combine engineering knowledge with strong commercial and customer relationship skills. Key Responsibilities Prepare tenders for ventilation, air conditioning, ductwork and fire-resisting ductwork projects. Produce quotations for ventilation and air movement products. Develop quotations for bespoke and non-standard products from first principles. Liaise with existing and prospective customers regarding technical and commercial requirements. Develop customer relationships and identify opportunities to increase sales. Follow up quotations and tender submissions to maximise conversion. Attend customer meetings, site meetings and on-site surveys when required. Process customer orders, including engineering drawings, materials and equipment requirements. Liaise with customers regarding project requirements and deliveries. Work closely with Contracts, Production and Engineering departments. Support testing and performance data production for new products. Represent the business at trade exhibitions, CPD seminars and industry events.
