Technical Sales Engineer Location: Audenshaw (with UK travel) Salary: £45,000 + commission Job Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm Our client is looking for a Technical Sales Engineer with a technical or engineering background and experience selling capital equipment, machinery or industrial products. This is a consultative role focused on understanding customers'' needs, providing expert advice and recommending the right solutions rather than simply selling products. Full product training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, solving problems and developing long-term customer relationships. Key Responsibilities as a Technical Sales Engineer Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing customers. Carry out customer sites visits to understand production and packaging requirements. Advise customers on suitable machinery and consumable solutions. Produce accurate quotations and oversee sales opportunities from initial enquiry through to completion. Manage and update customer activity and opportunities using the CRM system Liaise with service engineers to ensure customers receive a seamless and high-quality service. Offer technical guidance and first-line support to customers when required. Identify opportunities to develop sales within existing customer accounts.
