Technical Sales Engineer

Dutton Recruitment (Sheffield Engineering) are recruiting:We are looking for a Technical Sales Engineer for a permanent position based with our client in ScotlandImmediate start available (Subject to the interview process)Salary is 40,000 to 60,000 per annum (depending on experience)This will be working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8:00am till 5:00pmThe successful candidate will join one of the most technically advanced commercial teams within the cold rolled steel sector.This role will focus on new business development while maintaining and growing existing clients across Scotland and Ireland.This position is fully remote, with travel required for: sales meeting at the factor, Customer meetings (in person and via Microsoft Teams)Preparation of estimates and quotationsThe role also includes responsibility for ensuring sales are delivered in full and that payments are received in line with agreed terms.The successful candidate will sell into the purlin, mezzanine, and infill walling markets, with additional capability to offer laser cutting, pressing, and fabrication services.Experience Minimum 5 years'' sales experience within the cold rolled steel sectorStrong understanding of:Steel framed buildingsPurlin and rail systemsMezzanine floor joistsSFS infill systemsExperience in estimating cold rolled from general arrangement (GA) drawingsExcellent time and territory management, with the ability to plan routes, visits, and follow-ups efficientlyStrong rapport-building ..... full job details .....
