Technical Sales Administrator

The Role

An established business is looking for a confident and proactive Technical Sales Administrator to support its sales team and develop customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintaining contact with existing, previous and potential customers by phone and email.

• Identifying key decision-makers and generating new sales leads.

• Providing customers with relevant product information.

• Following up on enquiries and quotes to identify sales opportunities.

• Promoting new products to existing and potential customers.

• Keeping customer records and sales information accurate and up to date.

• Qualifying leads and passing opportunities to the sales team.

• Working closely with colleagues to support sales growth and customer retention.

The Ideal Candidate

• Confident, positive and self-motivated.

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

• Comfortable making outbound calls and handling objections.

• Resilient and able to remain motivated when faced with rejection.

• Organised, accurate and able to prioritise workload.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook.

• Experience using CRM or business management systems would be advantageous.
