What You''ll Do: Own the technical close process, including the preparation and production of monthly and quarterly insurance technical results under UK GAAP and IFRS 17. Produce comprehensive quarterly closing packs and conduct detailed financial reviews, analysing variances and investigating unusual movements. Support process improvement initiatives within the financial reporting domain, contributing to system enhancements and change projects. Liaise directly with external auditors and ensure all reporting requirements are met with accuracy and timeliness. Lead or assist in ongoing process and procedural change projects pertinent to core financial reporting, continuously seeking efficiency and control improvements. Required Skills and Qualifications: Qualified Accountant with at least 3-5 years of experience in the insurance industry.
