We at JKR are supporting our client recruit for a technically driven and commercially aware Technical Proposals Engineer to join their Product Solutions team in Cramlington. The Technical Proposals Engineer will support the Bid Leaders in developing competitive technical and commercial proposals for customers. You will translate customer specifications into practical engineering solutions, perform technical evaluations and calculations, and help ensure that every proposed solution is compliant, cost-effective, and fit for purpose. Technical Calculation and Design Initiate, perform, and/or follow up on project and non-project specific calculations Interpret customer specifications and develop suitable designs with the Engineering Manager and Bid Leaders during the offer stage Work with and optimise available calculation applications in collaboration with colleagues Review customer specifications and ensure compliance with technical and contractual requirements Ensure proposed equipment designs are fit for purpose for the intended application and operating environment Sales and Proposal Support Support the Bid Leaders with timely technical reviews, clarifications and specifications Maintain and distribute the PQCL (technical project checklist) for high-potential projects Coordinate and consolidate proposal inputs from Engineering, Costing, Purchasing, Manufacturing and ..... full job details .....
