Technical Project Manager

OverviewTechnical Project Manager role at Voodoo Park | Certified B Corp. You’ll oversee a wide variety of projects from conceptual design through implementation. You will network with clients and in-house personnel and form a dream team of experts for each project to maximize resources and efficiency. You will be responsible for the on-time and on-budget running of projects and will be accountable to the Voodoo Park Exec Team. You will be a strong, clear communicator with expert knowledge of internal and external stakeholder management and reporting. You will work closely with technical teams and be accountable for the set up of project teams and project delivery by working with clients, Delivery Managers and Account Managers. You will have a very strong technical understanding of software development principles and architectures and be comfortable with tasks such as solution and schema design.

Required Skills and Experience

Demonstrably strong technical understanding of software architecture, especially API-based platforms.

Demonstrable experience of requirement elicitation and agile story writing.

Expert understanding of project management methodologies and best practise.

Extensive experience in end-to-end delivery of multiple projects across multiple technical teams and clients.

Project planning and progress monitoring, including budget and milestone control.

Creative problem solver, able to build contingency plans and handle all situations with professionalism.

Be the single point of contact for delivery and act as an advocate between Voodoo Park and the customer.

Strong communication and presentation skills.

Excellent command of English.

Able to work UK office hours.

Tasks and Duties

Be responsible for the on-time and on-budget delivery of projects.

Manage multiple projects with top-down oversight to ensure end-to-end delivery per scope, budget, and timeline.

Work with customers to refine and translate requirements into user stories for development teams.

Collaborate with domain experts to understand complex technical domains and design solutions.

Manage agile workflows, backlogs, and sprints.

Develop comprehensive project plans aligning customer requirements with company goals and coordinate technical personnel throughout all phases.

Monitor progress and provide detailed reports on milestones and deliverables.

Manage issues, risks and dependencies across multiple projects.

Proactively communicate to provide encouragement, identify problems, create solutions, remove impediments and improve efficiency.

Oversee acquisition of resources and materials by coordinating with customers, team members and managers.

Anticipate future project details by communicating with customers and staying informed of trends and industry news.

Create a collaborative, innovative and efficient working culture; uphold morale and team performance in challenging circumstances.

Manage cross-disciplinary projects, teams and clients.
