As our team grows, we are adding a key role to lead the delivery of software projects for our clients.About the RoleYou will manage delivery of our largest software project to date, evolving the framework and processes that will guide future projects. This framework will extend across new and existing projects, positioning the role around scaling delivery and refining practices over time. This position involves planning and coordination while adhering to agile practices, working closely with business analysts, designers, developers and testers. The right candidate will influence how delivery is shaped across the business, with strong potential for personal growth as the company continues to expand.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide strategic oversight to guide requirements through design, build, testing and approval, while managing scope, schedules, quality, and business outcomes.Oversee the full Agile sprint cycle by setting clear goals, planning from a refined backlog, ensuring progress through daily stand-ups and metrics, and driving continuous improvement via reviews and retrospectives.Facilitate effective collaboration across business analysts, designers, developers and testers.Facilitate issue resolution and unblock team members quickly.Identify, assess, and mitigate risks, and develop contingency plans when required.Coordinate releases by managing scheduling, communication, and environment readiness, while implementing feedback loops to capture customer feedback on deliverables and inform future improvements.Maintain process documentation and ensure visibility of best practices.Skills and ExperienceRequiredDegree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical discipline.Minimum 5+ years in the software industry.Hands-on software development experience, ideally with a background in the Microsoft development stack.Proven project management experience.Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.Proficiency with Jira.Ability to engage with and understand technical discussions with developers.Solid general IT literacy.DesirableProject management or Agile certifications such as:Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)Professional Scrum Master (PSM I/II)PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)PRINCE2 / PRINCE2 Agile PractitionerExperience coordinating across multiple concurrent projects.Experience with Git-based version control.Exposure to CI/CD pipelines.If you have a solid background in software development and leadership, and believe you can be effective in this role, we encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet every criteria.Details and Benefits:40-hour working week: Monday to Friday, 8:30 - 17:0029 days annual leave, increasing yearlyHybrid workingContractual sick payOngoing training and development (Pluralsight access and dedicated weekly learning time)Progression opportunitiesAnnual bonus and voucher schemeSage Employee Benefits including Cycle to Work schemeNEST pension schemeOn-site ..... full job details .....
