Technical Project Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Project Manager to join our client in Gourock for a 12-month fixed term contract. As a Technical Project Manager, you will provide support to deliver excellent project management for all project work assigned to the Standards and Performance team related to vessel improvements, modifications and upgrades. THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT Hold an unlimited Class 1 or 2 Marine Engineers Certificate, equivalent Naval Architecture Qualification, Electrical / Mechanical Engineering HND or an APM Project Management qualification with extensive marine experience. Experience of leading on projects in a similar role. Be able to demonstrate a high level of competence in all aspects of leading project management. Demonstrate experience of scoping a project, project management and implementation of small to medium scale projects in a similar role. Proven experience in all aspects of Microsoft Office applications. Proven verbal and written communication skills. Ability to collate and report effective project information. Knowledge of programme office / project processes and practices and use of project tools and methodologies in conjunction with good understanding of full project lifecycle. (Desirable) Experience in commercial ship operations and management, sea going Marine (Deck) or Engineering background advantageous.
