We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Project Manager to join our dynamic team.Job Summary:The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing technical projects from conception to completion. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and project management skills to ensure projects are delivered at a high rate, within scope, and that complexity is managed as the company grows. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of high-frequency trading systems, post-trade STP, and cryptocurrency payment systems. They should also have some exposure to cloud-based systems, ideally AWS.Key Responsibilities:Manage multiple technical projects simultaneously.Foster a collaborative and productive team environment, owning the delivery process of the technology group within Laser DigitalDevelop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation.Understand and contribute to the systems architecture of high-frequency trading systems, post-trade settlement, and cryptocurrency payment systems.Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, and stakeholders across all our offices on 4 continents.Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.Ensure all project deliverables meet quality standards and both internal and external client expectations.Communicate project status, updates, and issues to stakeholders and senior management, including preparing and presenting regular progress updates to the Executive CommitteeFacilitate project meetings and provide regular status reports.Qualifications:Deep understanding of high-frequency trading systems, post-trade settlement, and cryptocurrency payment systems.Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager or similar role.Entrepreneurial mindset with a background in a startup environment.Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, Microsoft Project).Experience working with international teams.Suggested academic level: Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field.Seniority level
