The Role

As a Technical Project Engineer, you''ll be responsible for developing accurate CAD designs and production-ready documentation for bespoke engineering projects. Working closely with engineering and manufacturing teams, you''ll ensure designs are practical, cost-effective and ready for production.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce detailed 2D and 3D designs using SolidWorks and CAD software.
• Create assemblies, manufacturing drawings, BOMs and technical documentation.
• Develop practical engineering solutions using Design for Manufacture (DFM) principles.
• Liaise with engineering and production teams to ensure design feasibility.
• Modify and improve existing products to meet customer and project requirements.
• Support projects from initial concept through to manufacture and installation.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant quality and safety standards.

About You

You''ll ideally have experience in a Mechanical Design, CAD Design or Technical Project Engineering position and enjoy working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Essential Skills

• Strong SolidWorks and CAD experience.
• Experience creating assemblies and detailed engineering drawings.
• Understanding of engineering and manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of Design for Manufacture (DFM).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Desirable Experience

• Fabricated steelwork or sheet metal design.
• Modular structural assemblies.
• Security, guarding or industrial equipment design.
• DriveWorks.
• CNC programming or manufacturing automation.
