The company works closely with customers and overseas manufacturers to develop and source mechanical components, including castings and machined parts. This position would suit an engineer with a good understanding of mechanical components, particularly castings, who is comfortable interpreting drawings, establishing detailed technical requirements and working with manufacturers to take products through to production. The role of Technical Project Engineer will include: Reviewing customer engineering drawings, specifications and component samples to establish technical and manufacturing requirements. Liaising with overseas manufacturers, predominantly in China, to discuss component specifications, materials, tolerances and manufacturing methods.
