Technical Product Owner - Ground breaking LegalTech Start Up - London - Up to £160k + Equity / Remote Role
Cracking opportunity for a seasoned TPO to join a pioneering Legal Technology business that has just secured its second round of funding. This senior role sits at the intersection of technology and business, providing a critical link between the founding team—in particular the Chief Technical Officer—and the third-party development agency.
The successful candidate will be responsible for translating the clients product vision into detailed input and advice for the development team, ensuring high-quality delivery of their innovative legal technology products.
This isn''t just a Technical Product Owner, it''s a hybrid — part technical translator, part strategic partner, and part delivery enabler. The bridge between the CTO, the business, and the third-party developers is where this role really lives.
You will serve as the primary liaison between the Founder Team and the third-party developer agency-
• You will translate product vision and high-level business requirements into detailed, actionable guidance for the developers and act as the first point of contact for developer questions regarding product functionality, design, and technical decisions.• Collaborate closely with the developer agency''s Project Manager and Business Analyst to ensure alignment and clarity in development tasks.• Work alongside the Chief Technical Officer to ensure technical decisions support the long-term product strategy.• Provide input and feedback throughout the development lifecycle, from design through implementation and testing.• Ensure delivered features meet both business needs and technical requirements.• Assist in prioritization and refinement of the product backlog, balancing business value with technical feasibility.
Qualifications and Experience-• Proven experience as a Product Owner, Technical Product Manager, or similar senior role in a SaaS, Legaltech / Fintech or a related technology-driven company.• Strong background in software engineering, with the ability to engage meaningfully with developers on technical decisions.• Solid understanding of business processes and the ability to translate them into technical solutions.• Experience in legal technology would be ideal - if not then experience in a Fintech start up / scale up is also attractive• Experience working with third-party development agencies or distributed development teams.Comps Package up to £160k DOE + ..... full job details .....
