Technical Product Owner - Banking Technology - Java We are seeking an experienced Technical Product Owner to join a fast-growing technology business building modern banking platform capabilities for financial institutions. This is a highly technical Product Ownership role, working at the intersection of banking, product, engineering and platform delivery. This role would suit a Product Owner who is comfortable working closely with engineering teams building Java-based microservices, deployed on Kubernetes, with Kafka and event-driven architecture at the heart of the platform. You do not need to be a hands-on developer, but you must be technically credible enough to work with engineers, architects and senior stakeholders on complex platform decisions. The role As Technical Product Owner, you will take ownership of product backlog, requirements and delivery priorities for a cloud-native banking platform. You will work closely with software engineers, architects, delivery leads, business stakeholders and senior product leaders to define what needs to be built, why it matters, and how it should be prioritised. The role requires someone who can understand both the commercial value of banking products and the technical realities of building scalable, secure, regulated financial technology platforms.
