Are you an experienced Technical Operator looking for a new job in Telford (Shropshire) that can offer you long-term stability?We are proud to be working with an FMCG manufacturer in Telford who are looking for up to 5 Technical Operators to join them on a straight permanent basis.You will be working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (12 hour days and nights, 06 00 / 18 00) and the annual salary will range between £35,200 - £36,300 per annum.The Recruitment Process We are looking to move quickly with these roles, and as part of the companies interview process you will be required to do the following: Online Assessment: Short initial test to gauge technical aptitude.Assessment and Hiring Event: Successful candidates will be invited to the factory in Telford for a 2-hour session including an interview, technical discussion, and a factory tour. Key Responsibilities: Production Excellence: Monitor and operate advanced machinery to maintain seamless production runs.Technical Problem Solving: Identify machine faults early using root-cause analysis and process fault trees, minimising downtime.Maintenance: Perform routine precision cleaning and preventative maintenance.Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous quality checks to ensure products meet our gold-standard benchmarks.Collaboration: Work closely with the wider shift team to hit and exceed production targets.
