About the Role
This temporary Technical Operator post with Manpower UK supports pharmaceutical production in Swindon. Working shifts at a manufacturing facility, the successful candidate operates compounding, filling and aseptic equipment, undertaking preparation, cleaning, sterilisation, CIP and SIP tasks. Technical Operator
We are recruiting for a Technical Operator to join a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Swindon. This is a hands-on role supporting the production of pharmaceutical products within a cleanroom environment, ensuring all work is completed safely, accurately and in line with GMP standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate manufacturing, compounding and aseptic filling equipment
- Carry out equipment preparation, cleaning, sterilisation, CIP and SIP activities
- Complete batch documentation and quality checks
- Monitor equipment performance and report faults
- Maintain cleanroom and GMP standards
- Support production changeovers, validation activities and new product introductions
Requirements
- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent)
- Basic IT skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Quality-focused and methodical approach
Desirable:
- Manufacturing experience
- Experience in a regulated environment such as pharmaceuticals, food, cosmetics, automotive or engineering
Working Hours
This role operates on a 24/7 shift pattern, including:
- Day shifts
- Night shifts
- Weekend working
