About the Role
The Technical Operator position in Rugby, CV21 1HA, involves supporting daily production tasks while upholding strict quality, food safety, and health and safety protocols. Working a 4-on, 4-off rotating schedule, you will alternate between 7:00 am to 7:00 pm days and 7:00 pm to 7:00 am nights. Duties include basic machine inspections, routine upkeep, precise quality documentation, and assisting with stock and material control. This temporary contract pays up to £14.99 hourly. Candidates should demonstrate reliability, a strong safety focus, and the ability to perform physical tasks efficiently. We are looking for a reliable and motivated Technical Operator to join our team. The role involves supporting daily production activities while maintaining high standards of quality, food safety, and health andamp; safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out daily production tasks safely and efficiently
- Maintain quality, food safety, and health andamp; safety standards
- Perform basic machine checks and routine maintenance
- Complete quality checks and paperwork accurately
- Support stock and material control within your work area
- Help with product changeovers and operate FLT equipment when required
- Use systems such as SAP to manage stock and production information
- Support and train team members where needed
- Identify and suggest improvements to processes and equipment
Requirements
- Previous experience in a production environment
- Able to work independently and make decisions when needed
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Flexible to work across different production areas
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Able to maintain high hygiene and housekeeping standards

Education / Qualifications
- Basic level of education
- Ability to work towards NVQ Level 2 or equivalent
