This is a key appointment at an exciting stage of growth, as the business continues to expand in the UK and further develop its in-house claims capability.The RoleThis is a senior technical leadership role with a strong emphasis on handling and driving strategy across complex motor claims, alongside playing a key role in ongoing transformation.You will act as the technical lead across the full motor claims lifecycle, bringing deep expertise across FNOL, AD, credit hire, personal injury, and complex/catastrophic losses. The position will involve both hands-on involvement in complex and high value claims as well as providing technical direction, oversight, and leadership to the wider team.A key part of the role will be to strengthen technical capability within the business, taking ownership of complex and large loss claims, supporting on escalations, and ensuring robust indemnity and reserving decisions across the portfolio. You will play a critical role in shaping claims strategy and driving performance improvement.Alongside the technical focus, you will also support the ongoing claims transformation agenda, working closely with the Head of Claims to continue the transition from outsourced to in-house capability.
