This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong professional with a proven background in fresh produce to join a reputable and growing business at a key stage of development. The RoleAs Technical Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing technical operations, ensuring the highest standards of food safety, quality, and compliance across the site. You will work closely with the Quality Team and operational stakeholders, playing a hands-on role in driving technical excellence and continuous improvement. Key ResponsibilitiesManaging food safety, quality, QMS and BRCGS standardsSupplier approval, due diligence and compliance managementConducting site GMPs, internal audits and managing non-conformancesComplaints and rejection investigationsMaintaining and updating technical documentationBenchmarking and market gap analysisSupporting the Quality Team and wider businessLiaising with retail customers and stakeholdersOccasional travel to third-party packing sites About YouProven experience within the fresh produce industry (essential)Strong knowledge of fruit and vegetable productsSolid understanding of food safety and quality systemsExperience working with retail customersExcellent analytical and organisational ..... full job details .....
