Technical Manager – Food Manufacturing
A well-established food manufacturer in the Malton area is seeking a skilled Technical Manager to lead site food safety, quality, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the site Technical and Quality functions, ensuring full compliance with customer, BRCGS, and legislative standards.

Drive continuous improvement across food safety, quality systems, and technical capability.

Oversee audits, specifications, HACCP, supplier approval, and customer technical relationships.

Provide strong leadership to the QA team, building a culture of accuracy, accountability, and high performance.

Partner with Operations, NPD, and Engineering to maintain product integrity and resolve technical issues.
Requirements

Proven experience as a Technical Manager or a Quality Manager seeking progression in the food manufacturing sector.

In-depth knowledge of BRCGS, HACCP, food safety legislation, and major retailer codes of practice.

Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional influence.

Detail-focused, proactive, and capable of performing under pressure.
