Technical Manager

Technical Manager Food Manufacturing West Yorkshire 75,000- 80,000+ Package Magnet Recruit is supporting a long time client with a key and strategic hire into their busy technical department. You will play a vital role in a key leadership position, responible for driving food safety, quality, compliance and technical excellence across a large scale, fast paced food manufacturing environment. This role will suit an established Technical Manager or even a Head of Technical that is keen on being site-based. Responsibilities - Lead and develop the Technical, Quality and Hygiene functions - Own the sites food safety and QMS - Act as the primary technical contact for all major retail and foodservice audits - Ensure BRCGS compliance, HAACP and all relevant legislation About you? - Proven experience in a Technical Manager or Head of Technical position within a similar food manufacturing environment - Strong knowledge of Food safety standards - Demonstrated understanding of HAACP, TACCP and more - Experience managing retailer standards and prven experience leading customer audits and 3rd party audits - Lead Auditor qualification would be advantageous What do you get? - 75/ 80k + package - Car or car allowance - Strong pension and bonus scheme - Longer term share vesting plan If this looks like it could be of interest, apply now and we can have a confidential discussion. ..... full job details .....
