Magnet Recruit is supporting a long time client with a key and strategic hire into their busy technical department.

You will play a vital role in a key leadership position, responible for driving food safety, quality, compliance and technical excellence across a large scale, fast paced food manufacturing environment.-

This role will suit an established Technical Manager or even a Head of Technical that is keen on being site-based.-

Responsibilities-

- Lead and develop the Technical, Quality & Hygiene functions-
- Own the sites food safety & QMS-
- Act as the primary technical contact for all major retail and foodservice audits-
- Ensure BRCGS compliance, HAACP & all relevant legislation-

About you?

- Proven experience in a Technical Manager or Head of Technical position within a similar food manufacturing environment-
- Strong knowledge of Food safety standards-
- Demonstrated understanding of HAACP, TACCP and more
- Experience managing retailer standards and prven experience leading customer audits & 3rd party audits-
- Lead Auditor qualification would be advantageous-
