Technical Manager Permanent Location: Glasgow Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 DOE + benefits package Ref: GR1558 Gibson Recruitment Limited Job Description: Gibson Recruitment Ltd. is working on behalf of a high-end residential developer to recruit a TECHNICAL MANAGER to join their Glasgow-based team on a permanent basis. New build projects are typically multi-storey Flatted Developments and applicants should be able to demonstrate sound technical understanding of Construction processes. The successful Technical Manager will oversee the technical lifecycle of new build developments through both construction and post-construction stages. This role bridges the gap between design and delivery. You will take full ownership of services, warranty sign-offs, and contractor design elements during the build, while critically driving post-completion NHBC defect resolutions and asset adoptions Responsibilities: Asset Adoptions and Bonds: Progress road and water/waste-water asset adoptions; clear road bonds, manage sewer recoveries, and resolve statutory authority issues. Warranty and Sign-Offs: Collate design, environmental, and engineering data to secure NHBC technical sign-off and clear post-completion legacy defects. Contractor Design Elements (CDE): Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to assemble CDE packages supporting building warrant applications.
