Our client a large local authority have an immediate need for a Technical Manager , a temporary role for an initial 3 month period but we expect this to be extended. The role : To manage a team of technical and surveying staff to provide a comprehensive property management service for the housing stock and transitional support service for all aspects of the clients varied asset portfolio ensuring that agreed programmes of works for cyclical maintenance, component replacements, improvements and repair contracts are delivered efficiently, effectively and economically the Regulatory works programmes for HHSRS and Decent Homes, and legal disrepair claims are effectively managed technical advice is provided to internal and external clients contracts are procured and managed effectively transitional support is provided with projects on the commercial property portfolio effective relationships with building managers and project officers are built and working arrangements maintained with all clients to ensure that quality technical and asset management services are provided in a professional, customer focused manner.
