Technical Manager

deakin training .This role is permanent and full-time, working any 5 days out of 7. This will include weekends and bank holidays as required. Flexibility will be required as time and days of shifts will vary.Responsibilities
Maintain and ensure the safety of every corner of the attraction, from building integrity to the live actor shows and special effects.Lead statutory inspections, implement health and safety measures, and manage the upkeep of facilities and systems.Lead and develop a maintenance team, ensuring they meet statutory requirements and Merlin standards.Manage ride upgrades and capital expenditure projects while keeping budgets under control.Schedule fire and safety checks, tackle risks, and perform hands-on work to keep the Dungeon safe, eerie, and efficiently terrifying.Qualifications and Experience
Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, electrical principles related to mechanical systems, and AC/DC motor applications.A fault diagnostic approach to electrical and electronic systems and knowledge of animatronics and ride engineering systems.Experience in managing A/V systems including show programming, audio and lighting is beneficial.Experience with planned preventative maintenance systems, Health and Safety procedures relevant to engineering activities, and knowledge of building management systems.A positive and self-motivated individual with a strong eye for detail.Someone who takes pride in their work.Benefits
