Technical Manager

We are recruiting for a Technical Manager-to join an established Manufacturing business based in the Dudley area. The Technical Manager-will be responsible for- maintaining processes, supporting the quality department and supporting projects to aid improvements. In this role you will be responsible for Lab/Melting and Process technicians.
As the Technical Manager you will be required too :
* Carry out root cause analysis investigations implementing corrective and preventive actions
* Maintaining processes and owning the Technical programme
* Ensuring that testing processes and methods meet customer requirements
* Liaising with customers and sub contract processors
* Work to reduce cost of manufacturing and eliminating reworking
* Manage and maintain calibration checks for process control tools
* Evaluate customer feedback and implement any actions to address quality concerns
* Minimise internal and external scrap
* Identify and reduce root causes of downtime on equipment
* Establish and Maintain testing protocols for new and existing products
Requirements:
*-Previous experience as a Technical Manager in a Manufacturing environment
* Experience of implementing best practice solutions for process control tools
* Experience of maintaining technical programmes
* Experience of Liaising with suppliers
* Experience in a manufacturing/foundry environment would be an advantage
