Technical Leader Production

Personnel Selection are assisting in the recruitment of a practical, confident Technical Leader for a busy engineering manufacturing environment based within Andover Hampshire. Working closely with line management, you will help maximise output and quality by developing people, improving processes and providing technical support where it matters most on the shop floor.This is not a desk-based supervisory position. This is a hands on "roll your sleeves up" role. You will be visible in the production area, working shoulder to shoulder with operators and stepping in to prepare jobs, set up machines, support checks and remove obstacles to production. You will be operating the machinery along with the rest of the production team, supporting operators, setting up equipment, resolving day-to-day issues and helping the area deliver products on time, safely, efficiently and to a high standard.If you are an experienced production professional who enjoys solving problems, supporting people and getting involved, we would like to hear from you.Pay rate is £14.97ph based on a 39 hour week.
