Technical Lead

The Opportunity This is an excellent hands-on opportunity for an experienced Technical Lead Engineer to step into a genuine technical leadership position within an established engineering business. The role offers a great combination of design, product development, customer interaction, testing and hands-on engineering, giving you the opportunity to have a real influence on products and the wider technical direction of the business. Crucially, this is a role with a long-term succession plan. The successful individual will work closely with the current Technical Director, gradually taking on greater responsibility with the potential to ultimately take over the technical leadership of the business. Salary £42,000 - £48,000 dependant on experience 37.5 hours, office based, 8:30am 5:00pm (4:30pm on Friday s) 10% pension (employer contributes 5%) 31 days annual leave (including bank holidays) Progression / succession within the role Technical Lead Key Responsibilities Deal directly with customers, understanding their requirements, answering technical queries and developing practical solutions. Create detailed 3D models, assemblies, manufacturing drawings and technical documentation. Work closely with production, providing hands-on engineering support and solving technical issues quickly and effectively.
