Technical Finance Business Partner Duration: Up to 12 monthsLocation: Hybrid (Derby, up to 3 days/week)Day rate: circa £600 inside ir35An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Technical Finance Business Partner to join a high-performing Civil Aerospace finance team. This role focuses on technical accounting, financial assurance, and stakeholder engagement across a complex, global business environment.Key Responsibilities:Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulatory standards (IFRS and Group Finance manuals)Partner with business teams to provide expert guidance on complex accounting judgementsLead engagement with external auditors, managing audit timelines and deliverablesPrepare high-quality audit papers and present key issues to senior governance forumsChallenge financial reporting to ensure accuracy, integrity, and effective risk managementEnforce corporate governance frameworks to mitigate fraud and reporting risksLead quarterly balance sheet reviews and report findings to Group FinanceProvide financial assurance on investments, bids, and procurement decisionsCollaborate across finance teams to drive alignment, efficiency, and best practiceSkills andamp; Experience:Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)Strong IFRS and technical accounting expertiseBackground in external audit is highly desirableKnowledge of FX and statutory accounting treatmentsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsProven ability to influence and deliver ..... full job details .....
