Technical Field Manager

Job Summary Our client is seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Manager to oversee operations and ensure the successful execution of projects at their poultry farms. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background and demonstrate leadership capabilities to manage teams effectively. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety. This is a remote role but will require some travel to our clients farms, to be considered for this position you must be within 1-2 hours away from Herefordshire. Duties Manage and analyse weekly performance data Trigger and lead investigations Conduct chick start surveys and chair broiler outcome meetings Champion water hygiene Complete farm assessments and deliver workshops Reduce reject levels by identifying and addressing root causes Lead cleaning and disinfection surveys Deliver Future of Welfare and Compliance workshops Support farms with welfare KPI delivery and ongoing improvement Work closely with production teams to ensure protocols and procedures are implemented and followed Engage external partners to support continuous and transformational improvement Experience Strong background in agriculture, poultry farming, or animal welfare Technical mindset with excellent analytical and communication skills Ability to work both in-office and on-site across the UK A clean driving licence is essential Passion for animal welfare, compliance, and driving ..... full job details .....
